I would like to start by thanking my wonderful parents John and Morag for all their support both financially and emotionally, believing in me and in my dreams. They have helped turn those dreams into a reality, for which I am forever grateful. No amount of words can ever truly express my gratitude. I am delighted that they were both able to share these special moments with me. |  |
A big thank you goes to my husband who has supported me through my cybercounselling training, and all of my years of studying. He was the spark that set the ball rolling, and today we can see the results of all the hard work. And of course a big thank you to my four wonderful children who have shared in all the excitement, and allowed me to take transatlantic phone calls in peace!
There are many more people I would like to thank who I have met during my training or the setting up of the web site :- Maureen, Dan, Lawrence, Mel, all my classmates and the technical support team for their never ending patience.

Sadly
Sadly on June 3rd 2005 my wonderful Dad lost his courageous battle with cancer. As a family we were able to face terminal illness together, preparing for his departure and leaving no words unsaid. Today we draw great comfort from this time and cherish all the special memories we have been so fortunate to have. My Dad will live on in me and in my children. | |
He is Gone
You can shed tears that he is gone,

You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him
Or you can be full of the love that you shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember him and only that he is gone
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on,
You can cry and close your mind
be empty and turn your back,
or you can do what he would want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
