Terminal illness
Have you just received devastating news that either you or a loved one has a terminal illness? Are you struggling to come to terms with the fact that you have a limited time left and don't know how to make the most of every precious day?
It is not uncommon to find that the physical needs are addressed by your medical team, but the emotional needs are never touched on. | |
Many different types of emotions surface as you face this difficult situation, ranging from anger to devastation. By working through all the feelings it is possible to find acceptance of the situation and then you are able to make the most of every precious day.

| Staying positive
Having a positive approach to terminal illness makes such a difference to the quality of your life. If you can find acceptance of your situation, then you are able to spend quality time with your loved ones, creating special memories that will remain forever. By facing death you are to make plans for the future.
I have worked with many clients professionally who have faced death and all the fears that go along with the diagnosis of a terminal illness. It is not only people who have cancer that are given this diagnosis, so too are other people who suffer with conditions like heart disease.

I have also experienced terminal illness among my family and a very close friend. When my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, we were blessed with nine months to face his impending death. During that time we made the most of every single day, said everything we wanted to say and created many very happy occasions. Today I am so glad that we had that special time together as a family and know that we made the most of every single moment.
I have written many articles on terminal illness and would love to help make a difference to you too.
